ONE YEAR

One year ago I started this blog so I could leave something in case I was killed in Iraq. I was pretty sure I was not going to make it out there in one piece. I did and life has taken me in a direction that I like. I am out of the Army now and working for a Internet company that supplies wireless internet to business all over the south east. I like what I am doing but I was hired not for what I know, because I know NOTHING about wireless internet, but for what I will know after a few years working there.
I still fix computers on the side, I was working on a friend's computer yesterday and was able to fix it after all the repair shops told her that it was dead. I have never taken a laptop apart and this one was a pain but I was able to fix it.

I miss Iraq and sometimes I think about going back. There are a lot of jobs over there, I just don't want to leave my family EVER again.

Computers plus!!!!!

I have my deam job and I am loving it. I was hired for the help desk, with the idea that in a few months I could be moved to the tech department. After a few HOURS on the desk on my first day, I was pulled to reformat a computer and bring it back from the dead. On the next day I started to go on calls as a technitian. I have taken a pay cut from the Radio Station but I am doing something that I like, I am doing something that I feel I can only go up. My boss asked me to take anything I want from work and play with it at home, I can improve my set up at home with any equipment from home. Yesterday I got a call from a friend that his home business was having problems connecting with the internet. He was fed up with the people contracted to fix it because after a few weeks they were still having the same problems. I am going this morning and find out what is wrong so I will let you know what is up.
I am very pleased with this job. I am happy with this job.

Dreaming

I can not sleep. I am awake at about 3AM and I can not get back to sleep. I work all day, I am tired a hell when I get home, I fall asleep about 10PM and then I am awake 1/2 of the night. If I stay awake later, I still wake up at the same time. Some times I wake up because of the nightmares, some times because of strange dreams and sometimes because I want to play with the wife. I know that today I will be so freaking tired that I will fall asleep as soon as I get home from work, then I am going to be awake early again. The only time I can sleep is when I am so freaking tired that I sleep for 7 hours and that happens just one night a week.
Well I will let you know how I feel tomorrow.
