Good Sunday, everybody

I hope that everybody is having a great Sunday.

It was a very hard week and I am glad that it is over. I had a great group of people with two or three that I know rode the little yellow bus back when they were in high school.
On the week that the linguist come here I work for about 12 hours a day. Monday through Wednesday I work about 14-16 hours a day. Sleep is good and as the week comes to a close I get less and less. We work about 12 days straight and then we have a weekend off, after that the next weekend we have a 4 day, and then we pick up the next group on the following weekend.
I MISS WORKING WITH COMPUTERS!!!!!

I wish that there was more money in computers, but this job that I have right now pays three times as much.

I have a few hard drives and I am going to reload a different version of windows in a few of them just to keep some knowledge and practice.
I have worked in a few computers at the office but it is not the same as a whole factory collapsing because you got a bug fucking around causing havoc.

I miss computers!!!!

War is good and bad.

My dear friends

I feel strange when I think that this war has no good reason and at the same time I am making a lot of money by working for the war effort.
I was told yesterday that I passed my evaluation and now I am considered as a full time employee. I like my job but it keeps me away from my family. I have to work hard so I can spend some time off with my girls. They understand and like it when we can add another slice of cheese to the burgers at home.

I also met the dumbest person yet. I was driving on a full parking lot by the hotel where all the linguist stay and she was on the middle of it. I waited as to see what she was going to do and she didn't move, there was no space for me to go around. There is only one way to go and after I asked her about it she told me: "I didn't know which way you were going." That was surprising all together for two reasons; one, because there was no way to go and second; she could verbally communicate.
After that she tried to get in the van and was having problems folding the seat so people could get on the back. I got out of the van, showed her what to do and instead of lifting the lever as I had showed her, she was pulling it. I showed her again and she tried to pull the lever and broke it. Of course she is a good Muslim woman and because NOTHING is their fault she blamed ME for showing her the wrong way.

The only reason this human breathes is because she doesn't have to remember to do it.

It is a great job I tell you.

Still in one piece, I cant apologize enough for not contacting you before now, we left in kind of a hurry back in March. I am doing good, out here at wonderful FOB Hammer, about a half an hour east of baghdad. From what I've seen the place is still going to shit, we have been shot at and blown up more this tour than anyone from my platoon was last tour. I did manage to lose my virginity, but it was on a trip to tijuana, not sure if i want to talk about it, lets leave it at that. Spears may be out of luck, but I'll still do her, so maybe theres hope for her.
